Our committee is made up of local residents who have come together out of a shared commitment to our community. Some of us have lived here all our lives, while others are more recent arrivals, but we are united as one in our determination to protect and preserve the place we all call home.
We are proud to live in a neighbourhood rich in natural life—from the bats that skim the evening skies to the falcons nesting nearby. These habitats are part of what makes Motspur Park and Worcester Park special, and we believe they must be protected for future generations.
The gas holder, rising above our community, is more than an industrial remnant. It is a striking landmark and a symbol of engineering heritage—a connection to our past and to those who built this place before us.
As a committee, we are committed to ensuring that any future development is thoughtful, respectful, and in harmony with the values of our community. Progress should not come at the cost of character or history. It should build on what makes Motspur Park unique—not erase it.
